My Little Pot
I know you don’t know me
But I know you
A bully is just a bully,
The same morals ring true
Time after time,
You throw me into walls
You deny and deny,
But I can still see scars
I hate how this feels,
The intensity inside me
My little pot of emotions, rising and falling
My sorrows drown me,
Fill me with fear
Yet I keep on breathing,
Gasping for air
Sometimes I think it will all go away
I just have to stop breathing, thinking, wishing, for a better day
I close my eyes and count to five
But all I see is you in my mind
Why do you hurt me?
Play these games?
I give up,
Here’s my soul to take.
Do what you want-
I don’t care
You’re my controller,
The remotes in your hand
Go ahead and make me dance
You laugh and you laugh all the time
But I’m always crying-
Did I miss the punch line?
My little pot of emotions boils over
There’s no lid to hold it,
No soul to take over
My brain no longer works, functions, or makes sense
Someone please help before I do something I regret
Sorry, but you’re just too late
You could have stopped me
Are you to blame?
My hand has already released the bullet
And even though you’re dead,
you’re still my controller.
