Hurting
When you know that someone you love is hurting. You know that there is no way to make them better.
What do you do? You try to offer them help, but they refuse.
You sit there and watch them suffer. It breaks your heart.
Just knowing that they are hurting kills you.
They refuse to get help and you worry that if you say anything they'll get mad.
At any moment they could snap.
Knowing that they are hurting, not physically but mentally.
Pushing themselves away as you pull them closer.
No matter what you say you promise them you'll always be there for them.
Knowing you broke that promise make you feel like s***.
You hurt for so long thinking that everything they say my have been a lie but not wanting to believe it.
Deep down you feel that they hate you but you can't wont give up because you refuse to lose someone so dear to you.
Things are better now but you're still losing hope of them staying too much longer.
