Nightmare
These memories plague my mind
Like a flesh eating disease
It never stops until there is nothing left
It leaves you broken
Lost
Empty
I try so damn hard
To keep the diseases ridden memories locked away
In my door of obscurity
Making sure it never shows the nightmare ever again
But the more I try
The more it shows
Seeping through the door
I can’t get away from it
It never leaves me alone
You just want to know
What it feels like to live
Live in peace
Never knowing pain
Sorrow
Rage
You just want one damn day to feel alive
Will this day ever come?
Will I ever get to see
The beauty at the end of this life?
Or will I just see the nightmare?
