He faced many obstacles time after time
He had no father, had no guide
He had no soul to guide him through life
He took a wrong turn
Never saw the signs until it was too late to go back and rewind
He went down a deadly path
A path that not many come off from
He took the path of addiction, debt and lower education
He lost his money through intoxication
He lost his education through skipping school and being lazy
Yet he managed to achieve the impossible and turn his life around
He realized he could do better
Had no reason to not try
He recovered the lost pieces
Placed them all together and started a new life
He became a greater man
Has three children now, and he says to all of them
When life pushes you, make sure you always push back
Never let it bring you down
But most of all don’t take the wrong path
Don’t make yourself look back
Live life with no regrets
The eldest child promises she’ll never will
And he responds with humor but with seriousness in his eyes
