The pale face of the sun glares at the moon
The darkness bows down before its inevitable doom
But without fail it bounces back knowing the sun will go down soon
Once there was a time
When there was no one ahead or behind
The sun would not set nor would it rise
But the darkness and light would be eternally side by side
But then law and order came and with it hatred came too
There started to be evil and superiority grew
The sun started to burn as the moon silently waited its turn
It took longer for that to come and then as midnight came people would run
All night wanted was his equality
And just like the sun he wanted to be free
