Is it waiting, watching,
Or just wandering and following it’s daily routine?
Petrified of being attached by always trying to hang around.
Does it have a past?
Or was it just born into this new world
Trying to fit into the puzzle.
Maybe it is just avoiding the web
and the vicious arachnids that inhabit it.
Afraid of how they will tear him apart and making him
Vulnerable to the rest of us,
And unable to soar free.
Maybe that fly will rule the world some day and leave us
Wondering if we were the ones waiting or watching,
Just wandering and following our daily routine.
