Walk in the Woods

Why don’t we take a walk in the woods
And get lost in our thoughts
Twisting ideas into webs of elegant simplicity
Much like the spider builds his home;
Carefully and confidently.
Why don’t we take a walk in the woods
Allowing time and self-awareness to vanish
Becoming part of the landscape; Natural and pure
Free from ignorance which plagues the lives of
Those who allow it to.
Why don’t we take a walk in the woods
And get lost in the tress, so deeply rooted
Much like struggles we refuse to accept
Never loosening our grip; Fearing that we
May lose ourselves along the way.
