Who is to say what is real and what is not?
A dream could be an indication of reality.
Who is to say a there is a wrong way to think?
The world is open to free thinking,
though hushed thoughts could speak otherwise.
Who is to say something didn’t happened?
It may have all been a clever ruse, simply a mirage,
once a vivid memory swept away by threats.
Who to say one should think a certain way?
A massacre made to instill fear and silence.
Who is to say what is wiped away?
evidence is washed by rain
but much remains still in the brain
of survivors visiting with their past.
Who is to say what is wrong,
we must learn from our past experiences
and not repeat our mistakes,
For who is to say you can and can’t think a certain way?
No one.
For history can never be erased.
