"time can only hold"
When I first met you
I had never felt like this before,
talking to you trying not to blush
or making to big of a smile.
you listened to me like no one else did
I bet you thought I'd never end,
who would have thought
we would become more than just friends.
Over a period of time,
I got to know the real you.
A boy so caring and gentle,
with such an amazing heart hidden from the world.
You've survived your life
with hurt and loneliness by your side.
I told you I'd never leave
because of the feelings I have inside.
I know you like no one else will ever know,
the side we only see of each other,
and sometimes I wonder
what I'm going to do when you’re gone?
So I have decided
time can only tell.
If it is meant to be
time will remove my wall.
I love the way we are together,
even though we argue and snicker
you can always make me smile.
Will it ever really be forever?
I guess I will have to wait awhile.
Time can only tell what lies ahead
but always remember
what I have said.
Meeting you has changed my life
and I really do love you,
the feelings I feel for you
I can never let go.
Remember me always
and I hope you will too.
I will always think of that moment in my life of just
me and you.
