The Power of Words
It’s amazing what words can do.
They don’t even really mean anything at all.
Words are just sounds that come out of our mouth.
The noise has absolutely no meaning.
Yet, what they symbolize has the power to change a person’s life.
Three words.
I love you.
Such simple words bring unbelievable bliss.
Such simple words spur a chained reaction of happiness.
Two words.
He’s dead.
Only two syllables, yet so much emotion behind them.
Two syllables that turn a person’s world upside down and tear them apart.
One word.
Live.
All it takes is one breath to say, one exhale with purpose.
One breath of hope.
One breath of faith.
One breath of life.
Words have meanings.
They have emotion.
They change depending on tone.
They educate and inspire.
They allow feelings to be put together and connected.
They inform.
They touch hearts.
They bring tears.
They bring smiles.
They evoke thought.
Words so simple.
Words can change lives.
