Memories
Never lost, nor found
But remembered
Held tight,
In the hearts
Of to whom they belong
And in the hands
Worn and old
The young and new are placed
And as they grow
Memories follow
And life will end and start anew

I wrote this poem for my grandma the day she died, and my grandpa had it engraved on a stone bench that was placed next to her grave
