Rooftop
On the rooftop
 Sit and stare
 Across the plain
 And mountain tops
 To the sea
 Where it shimmers so gleefully

 Yet the rooftop
 Is where you think
 About life and other things
 And you think about
 What it would mean
If you were to jump off
 Just one step

 The vengeful ghosts
 Ride on the wind
 Stop by your rooftop
 As a daily trend
 Try to convince you
That the other side if okay
 They want you to wear
 The pin of death
And they want me to look away

 I'm watching you think
 Your foot
Sliding off and on the edge
 There is no ladder
 The doors are locked
 No way to reach you
 Only can wish
