Sitting under the stars
Sitting under the stars
breathing in the cold crisp air that surrounds her
hoping that one day
her wish on that one shooting star will come true
that her pain will soon end
that her heart wont break anymore
Just one wish
to end the suffering
to stop the blood that drips from her tears
that the words from others wont slice her open
To no longer feel fragile
For the world to stop crushing her limb by limb
To no longer cry herself to sleep
For the one to come along
And pull her along
To hold her hand through the worst
To help make it better
But all the ones used her
Turned their backs
When they truly saw how much of a mess
How much of a mess her life caused
to those around her
Used her for her body
Once they were finished
just to end up walking away
Leaving her to burn in her misery
With no where to turn
Nothing left for her to do
But to pray for one day
Just one day for the sun to shine brighter
Its starting to get old
She's losing her hope
There's not much time left
Its getting harder to fight
But everyone around her is blind
Going on with their everyday lives
Like she doesn't exist
Its almost as if she's already gone
Time is running thin
She starts to think the unthinkable
Its too late to save her
She's already made up her mind
There's not much left to do
While she watches from above
To see all the people who never cared that she was alive
Cry over her stone cold body
Saying they miss her
when in fact they just want the focus on them
that they actually got close to the girl
That it affects their lives now that she's no longer around
When all it does is bring a curse every time they say her name
Its only a matter of time
before they forget her all together
they fill her place with another girl
Its just a never-ending story
No one will remember her
Or what she did
The girl that wished upon a star is gone
