What do you see?
What do you see when you see the world?
 Is life a bountiful harvest?
Or is life a meager scrap of bread?
For one man, the sun stands bright and bold
Giving life to the lifeless, healing our minds.
For another man, the sun towers and defeats
Draining hope with his mighty heat.
What do you see when you see the world?
Are we destined for greatness despite the odds,
Or are we fighting a fool’s war every day?
Destiny is the unforeseen path laid before our feet.
Destiny is the height we were born to meet.
The reason we struggle, the reason we survive.
We believe our fate is on our side.
Destiny is a word, heavier than the globe.
Destiny is the mighty sun, a scrap of bread, a fool’s war.
 Destiny is nothing.
 Until we make it.
