If there is one word to describe life it is one

Love is a fire,
Decimating all around it.
Devouring hearts.
Yet as alluring as a fireplace.
Enticing its victims.
Swindling them into the forest.
Ready to char them down.
One by one they catch on.
.....
...
..
.
But so captivating,
So Enchanting,
-
So exposing.
That's the precious thing of life.
Rain comes and banishes the blister amidst.
The charred forest is revived and rises again.
Waiting ...
Waiting for that fire to bare love's eyes.
Unshield loves face.
Open loves heart.......
.....
...
..
.

Thanks ! :) Yea its basically a enormous metaphor, and that line "But so captivating" is one of my personnel favorites because thats what love is it is something that looks so beautiful and so amazing you just cant look away, somewhat like fire

Good poem! I like the energy that is present throughout this piece. The symbolism is not confusing and is used effectively. I really get an honest vibe starting from the line "But so captivating", which I find very impressive, seeing that many modern poems lack open honesty. Great work!
