Heavy heart,
Confused mind,
Tear threatened eyes
Holding back cries.
Wondering why,
Should I even try?
Can't hear my thoughts,
No, can't even talk
Can't you even see how much I'm trying?
I don't even know you well yet!
I'm your daughter,
You're my father,
I'm not a stranger,
Or any danger.
I just wanted to know you.
I'm more like you than I wanted to be.
How could you turn your back on your first child?
I didn't want this feud...
