A young man sprints over desert dirt.
sand in his boots and cross around his neck
panting the "Our father" in the dead of night.
that's his automatic rifle and it tells no lies.
the truth is in his clip,
he looks down the sight.

But on on the other side,
an equal man preps for a holy night.
A slow walk into the check point,
armed and ready for war.
And its collateral damage.
That's the cost of war.
