Wake Up

Soft, gentle motion
Of rocking back and forth
Waves crashing and
Lapping against the hull
A breeze tickles and rouses sleepy eyes open
The sky gray and bright
Morning calling to wake up and see
The beauty that has rose
Distant shapes of birds
Soaring over the horizon
Their limbs spreading great shadows
Over the silver rolling water
