It overwhelms me as I watch you
go
A want more than the want for you
back
It makes my heart ache and my head hurt
I refuse to give in
but maybe
maybe it would help
but then maybe it won't
the need hurts and I know the relief won't
maybe just once
but I know I won't be able to stop
and I will never let go of what we
had and what we don't anymore
I give in and as I watch you leave into the sunset as my lost hero I let go
As I watch a single tear slides down my face

See I like this kind of poetry. Its very well done and it conveys a very good message. But one thing that I think it needs, Just a little more oomf. LIke a little more emotion and detail and this poem would be absolutely amazing. You have it all there and you definitely have talent. :)
