Your words clung to my thoughts,
Your actions clung to my heart.
Memories crash down.
Days are remembered,
Days are forgotten.
Things we wish to forget,
We remember.
Things we wish to remember,
We forget.
We want to remember the good things,
But we want to ignore the bad.
We try to protect ourselves,
But we hurt the ones we love.
People that we hate,
Get closer.
People that we love,
We push away.
