Doing Right

Only one that’s above us
Can only judge us
Calling it no love but lust
No crime but justice

I think about my favor
How to love my neighbor
Not even to like because I truly hate her
But please..

Please tell me I’m doing right
Like Jesus head of my life
Takes away my pain and strife
Helps me through my sleepless nights

But what would he do
Not act like no fool
Act civil like you
And still have no clue

Of what to do next
Should I lay her to rest
Should I love her even less
And still show I’m the best

Or prove I’m a beast
Going greatest to least
That love I keep
Is still there can’t you see

But I guess not
Being behind prison doors
My hearts is locked
But if you just take the time to knock

Being guilty on the outside
But deep down on the inside
I didn’t mean to take a life
I was just living a lie

The one that was told
So when I get old
I won’t turn into a wicked troll
So I stole…

The life that was meant to live
A heart meant to give
One to have fruitful kids
To be rich and buy not to bid

I think about my favor
How to love my neighbor
Not even to like because I truly hate her
But please…

Bring her back again

The author's comments:
in most of my writing i am another character telling a story from there point a view. in this poem my character has been told to live as a perfect loving person. she soon gets tired of living a false life and releases her anger through death. soon after she regrets everything she's done
