He was left with nothing
“To get his whole life packed in
two bags,
Just
Two bags”
“Couldn’t even pack his
clothes”
It was hard
All alone,
But together
Isolated from the
Community
But nonetheless a
community
In itself
“All the Japanese have to
Go”
Get out
We don’t want
You
Anymore.
We fear
You
But why?
“Prisoners of war in their
own country,”
We stick up for
Our country
We sacrifice ourselves
For our country
But
Now look
What life has
Come down
To.
