Ghost

So transparent
No once can see
The soul that will never rest
In eternal peace
She tries to get out
To find her way
But all she can do
Is wait till her release
Her shoulders ache
Waiting to fly
She touches where
Her wings once were
All he left
Was the ridged scars
She finds herself screaming
Her sores open and bleeding
But no one can see
Past the walls
Where she hides
Underneath the skin
Inside of me
She slowly fades away
All that’s left is the ghost
Waiting to be set free
