Abandonment
Where did you go
 I thought you loved me
 Now you haven’t come home
 I sit here and sleep

 When are you coming home
 I wait, wait for you
On my fur you use to use a comb
But out the door you flue

 I’m not the only one
 There are many others
I would like to have some fun
Please don’t do this to another

If you wondering who I am
I’m the pet you use to love and cherish
But now I’m the animal you abandoned
If you don’t recall like most people do, I could parish

 Without a trace
 Now I watch from above
Watching over others who are in the same predicament as I was.
