Not the fact of the loss
But the recognition of the choice
Mine or my elders.
Either, it’s for the better
The better for you,
Most definitely not me.
A man’s best friend,
If it was for me
The guilt would be unbearable.
The never ending pain
Of what time could’ve brought.
I hope that one day it will be forgiven.
