Dark Room
Empty and alone,
Darkness fills my mind.
Every thought that flows out,
Fiercely tears me apart.
Why all the lies?
The moon can't even shine
Through this world that is misshapen.
They squawk when they talk,
And spin when they sleep.
The walls cave in,
There is no way out.
I reached out from the black fog,
But felt nothing above.
I was drowning in space,
Floating off the ground.
How can it be
That I am alone?
With no one to love,
And nothing to hold.
I fade.
