"Each man had only one genuine vocation--to find the way to himself. He may end up as a poet or madman, as prophet or criminal--that was not his affair... His task was to discover his own destiny--not an arbitrary one--and live it out."

Golden slumbers kiss your eyes,
Smiles await you when you rise.
Sleep,
Pretty baby,
Do not cry,
And I will sing a lullaby.

In your dreams lovely baby,
Monsters will come.
Sweet songs I sing you darling
The monsters are descending.
With great talons they rip and tear
Invisible but they are there.

Is that a tear?
Do not let it fall upon these clouds
Of white.
Pretty baby,
Do not cry
And I will sing a lullaby.

They are getting closer now,
Do you see them?
Child, Child look harder!
For what you do not see,
You cannot defeat.
The fear in your eyes they will greet.

Powerful and tortured I watch
As they chain you.
Little girl Little girl fight harder!
Let your soul shine through
Where is the real you?
You will need it now

They are here.

**First stanza is an excerpt from a lullaby. All else is completely original.
