Unable
Unable to remember
 Yet unable to forget
 This vexatious little burden
 My woeful inability

I can feel just its presence
 But I cannot conjure up
 That shy little smile
 That ran away from me

 I'm unable to remember
 Yet unable to forget
This vision of this single day
When the world had disappeared on me
and left me just a memory

It has faded, it is gone,
 I am just completely lost
there is only me alone inside
 this much too empty mind

And all I'd ever wanted then
was to see it once again
 but never will I see
 as the memory had died
and each and every tear I had
 has already been cried
