A Crooked Path
The path I take
Is but a crooked one
Littered with leaves
Of change
I walk at
a moderate pace
Not to slow
Or to fast
When the trees block
The sun's shining rays
All I can do
Is move ahead
If there is a log
Upon the path
I do not move it
But go over it
When the trail
Comes to an end
The leaves will be gone
And so will I
