The greatest thing you'll ever learn, is to love, and be loved in return.

Diversity means...

Love and hate
lies and fate.
A line divides us
through sex
through race.
No one should be angered
for how people are made.
Everyone is different
in their special way.
They stand up
or give in to submission.
They fight
or abandon the mission.
No one is completely the same.
Some have common beliefs
while some just don't believe.

Some choose to stay
while some would rather leave.
On the outside
a line divides us
but the color on our skin
should not define us.
It’s all about what's inside us.
I see us all
as perfectly unique.

I see united
as we all should be.
You can't choose
who we are
but we can choose
who we want to be.

I was had to write a poem with the theme of diversity. It was very difficult for I have never had to write to a theme. Once I saw how much stuff could be different, I was inspired by people. I feel this poem shows that everyone is different, yet we're all amazing in our own way. :)
