Polka dots
Too much light
 Blinding sun beams
 Your skin
 Your eyes on a butterfly
 Red and black
 Poka dot
 Your favorite
 Your braid dancing
 On your back
 Your eyes with those
 Sparkles of hazel
 And olives mixed

 Your hand in mine
 And that side
 Smile lighting up
 Your lips
 Pushing me on a swing
 Higher and higher
 Breath catching
 And you holding on
 Laugher in the wind
 Coming with
 A sweet little giggle

 And push you
 Just to prove
 We can be kids too
 It's not a lost art
 With age
 Just forgotten

 You and me
 And all the future holds
 Her one day
 Holding his hand
 And making memories of
 Her own
 But for now
 It's just Us

 Going higher and higher
 You jump
 I leap
 You catch
 And we fall
 Circles in playgrounds
 Relearning the lost art
 Of being kids again
