Though once I’ve never thought to say
I never could have, always strayed
So please don’t punish nor feel such pain
As I have thought to think this way
Yet what if I had chosen to speak?
Let my words sing, to let them leak?
Would you have ever understood?
These thoughts that invaded as best they could
With that my fear and where it roots
Should I speak out and tell my truth?
What will the outcome really be?
There’s but one way to truly see.
