"Love and Simple Things"

A simple thing is how love begins.
It starts with feelings that have been worn thin.
It turns into stronger feelings,
but sometimes comes with harsh dealings.
In the end, it may work out,
and it will work out with no sense of doubt.
You must start with light compassion,
then move upward to a romantic fashion.
For both, it may take time to adjust.
No matter what, you'll always have that feeling of lust.
In the end, time will tell,
it's one word L-O-V-E can spell.
