I close my eyes

My heart beats faster
When I talk to you
My mind wanders,
My breathing slows.
I close my eyes,
I see you,
I imagine
Every blink,
Every breath,
Every word.
Then the world becomes
SILENT!
A minute or two
It all seems fake,
Then reality hits.
It turns something
Beautiful and wonderfu,
UGLY!
Then once again
It becomes
Beautiful and magical
But
Deep down
We are full of pain.
With all that pain
We tend
to conceal it!
