Raindrops are not so pretty on the ground.
The bubble is popped and fragments lay strewn for monsters to crawl over.
The black storm engulfs the ships, and leaves crackle under trodding rainboots.
Cement sidewalks blend with muddy rolling hills.
And oh how sad do the houses look when they cannot blink the tears out of there glassy eyes.
No, raindrops are not so pretty on the ground.

I love the way you write! IT's so perfectly poetic. You have a great voice in your poetry. I love the metaphor- I'm a sucker for using metaphor. In almost all my poetry there is some form of metaphor there. This is awesome! Great job!
