My fingertips are tingling,
I can't grasp what I'm feeling.

Am I happy? Am I scared?
I was unaware anyone cared.

I feel overjoyed, that I know;
Though I am careful not to let it show.

Too many times I have walked away,
Leaving my heart broken and astray.

Is this discomfort or is this bliss?
And then he answered my thoughts with a gentle kiss.

Being in a relationship can be wonderfully confusing, but that all seems to disappear when your partner displays their affection.
