Daddy, please come home
We all miss you!
I didn’t get to give you a hug.
Please come home, you have been gone long enough.
It’s time to come home
You can’t do this to us.
Please tell me it’s a lie.
You’re coming home tonight.
You’re going to walk in that door tonight, I just know it.
Please come home dad, I miss you so much.
You inspired many people.
You were a father, a Chief, a mentor and a friend.
We all need you to come home.
We need your help
You were the handy-man, the electrician, the plumber and the cable guy.
So just come home dad, please.
Nothing is going right.
So please just come home and help us dad.
People keep telling me that you’re not coming home.
Is that true?
Please tell me it’s not.
I don’t think it’s true.
So just come home dad, please
Thanks

My dad passed away on February 1, 2012. He was an inspiration to many. He was the Chief of Ralston's Fire Department. He was loved by many. I wrote this a couple days after telling him that we all miss him and that we really wanted him to come home. I love him very much and I wanted to put it in writing.
