Round and round we go.
Floating higher and higher up into the sky,
Like a child's lost balloon.
High above the fair,
With the smell of funnel cakes in the air.
I slowly drift to sleep,
With his arm around me,
Silently protecting me,
As the stars glittered like diamonds tossed in the sky.

A picture of a Ferris Wheel inspired me to write this poem in English class.
