From the dark,
A spark,
Then a flame,
A shrill shriek,
Then a fire,
Desire like lava,
Pours through veins,
As a poison,
Stealing the life,
Of what remains,
Torture and passion,
Wrapped up like two veins,
Indefinite, and strong,
Then a blaze of compassion,
And a bloom of satisfaction,
Like steel swords,
Flashing in the dark,
Creates light,
Then heat,
Just as the earth shakes,
And then the heavens quack,
Two humans just like any other
Fall into lovers.

I wrote this over the summer. It is one of my favorite poems, where i express my deep feelings about what i believe love is all about. Please, comment if you would...and dont forget to enjoy.
