I've waited all day
to come here and write
its what i do when life gets rough
and it is taking all my might

I sometimes don't want to be here who wants the same thing everyday?
That's why i love to write
i can make everything my way

I can control the plot and words
i can make up a story in my mind
and put it on a crisp lined paper
and make all the characters kind

so many endless possibilities
for my writing to endure
because it feels like my life
is out of balance for sure

writing is my relief
its my designer drug
especially when my feelings
have been swept under the rug
