I cannot yield
to the oncoming traffic
I fear that the hidden road
will cause a detour
through a one way street
and cause us to come to a dead end.

The author's comments:
This poem was inspired by the No Right Turn Sign at the end of the teacher parking lot which happens to be right out side my math class window which I also happen to sit next to.
