They say that she was perfectly fine
They say that she smiled at the moonlight
They say that she sang all the time
They say that she was perfectly happy
But they don’t know that she slept alone
They don’t know that time broke her heart
They don’t know that pain was her best friend
They only know what they want to know
They don’t know that everything was too much
And they say that they never knew the truth because she never told a lie
