Natural Disaster
Just like a whirlwind,
 You swept me up
 And pulled my away
 By the hand.
 Lost my sense
 Of direction,
 Just floating in
 Your presence.

 Drawn to your fire,
 You make my skin
 Burn in the heat
 Of your gaze.

 Like a flood,
 You wash away my
 Inhibitions, tear down
 The pillars that I
 Cling to.

 You are my personal
 Natural disaster,
 Taking down my guards.
 So now I’m here
 Waiting
 For my rescue crew,
 But that seems
 To be you, too.
