My Broken Love

I was with my friend yesterday,
We talked and listened to music,
My walls were down and my emotions were at bay.
The song we loved, it came on,
I stopped talking and started to cry.
The friend I was with asked what's wrong,
I said it was our song.
He grabbed me and hugged me
And told me you were a fool,
To give up on such a wonderful girl,
Smart, beautiful and cool.
I didn't know what to say,
So I cried some more
And ran away.
I can no more face that friend,
He reminds me a lot of you,
Thanks a lot, I lost one more,
Because I still love you.
