Wasn't just a kiss

I knew from experience
That the cold icy shudder
That ran through our occurrence
Of that one kiss
Was nothing more but just a kiss
Crazy, I don't know what that moment meant
but maybe it didn't
How long? And to what extent
Is it a desire so secret, that's almost forbidden?
I could take it out with words of madness
Or cry the tears of sadness
But I won't give you that satisfactory
That kiss
Was distant, distinct
So peculiar
And interlinked with a lifetime of troubles and humor
That kiss...
Wasn't just a kiss
