The Anonymous, The Unknown
Are waiting
waiting
waiting
For their chance
to be in the spotlight,
To shine.
An angel-faced girl
sings in her room
A high-pitched wistful voice
An imaginary crowd
Autograph hunters and adoring fans alike
Cheer her on.
A 14-year old boy
Hides his talent
Of pitching thunder
A whirlwind of a leather ball
and scarlet yarn.
Nobody knows
what they can do,
how great they are.
The Anonymous, the Unknown
The people doing the little things
To conceal their big dreams.
