Jessie
She walks with her head down
 Eyes cast aside
 And I'm the only one
Who knows what good things hide
Inside that red head of hers
Well you'd never be able to tell
 That she is the person
 Who knows me so well
She can tell you any song title
And might even sing a verse
 And I'm one lucky bastard
To be a friend of hers
She makes my dark days brighter
 With her sarcasm and wit
And I can tell you from experience
My best friend packs a hit
 Even though we fight sometimes
And I swear she could kill
 I know that hopefully
 She never will
 She thinks she isn't pretty
And scoffs when I say I'm sure
 But little does she know
I wish I looked like her
 I claim her as family
And I'm sure that she's known
That my door is always open
And my house is her home
 So hopefully you read this
And your friends come to mind
But trust me when I tell you
 Jessie's are hard to find
And I know you think I'm bluffing
 But no one matches mine
