Love, Twice Found
For a heart once broken,
 a love once strong,
 feelings so deep,
 the sadness in songs.
 For you this is,
 a poem about,
 love once lost,
 love, twice found.

 For I had a man,
 I thought was the best,
 until once again,
 we split, failed the test.
The test of time, of love so strong,
 of compassion and caring,
 it didn't last long.

 For I went through grieving,
 of losing my heart,
 but I soon realized,
 love had a new start.

For what I once thought hopeless,
 I can now prove wrong.
 As feelings for him,
 have surprisingly come around.

 I like this guy,
 with all of my heart,
but he's taken, doesn't want a new start.
I wish him the best, in the love he has,
 but hope one day,
 when his love is lost,
 he'll find love twice found,
in a girl who cares, right from the start,
 in the girl, writing this,
 true from her heart
