Fallen Angel

A fearful prayer.
A desperate plea.
A call for help.
“Someone, rescue me!”

The fallen angel
wanders alone.
So far away
from her heavenly home.

With broken wings
she cannot take flight.
This lonely creature
is a pitiful sight.

All by herself
in a darkened place.
Lost and left alone
in the endless miles of space.
