You crossed your fingers behind your back
Telling me each lie you tried to make true
After each time I figured out it wasn’t true
I left you for a year or two
Then me being dumb and in love
I went back to you
Because I never knew that I couldn’t lose feelings for you
I was back for the last time and thought you were someone new
But instead in a week or two
You proved to me you were still the old you
I can’t help but feel my heart break
Then each tear roll down my face
I end up not caring anymore
